Alum honored with National Humanities Medal
Roz Chast 77 PT was honored with the 2023 National Humanities Medal. President Biden presented Chast the medal in a private White House Ceremony on October 21, 2024.
Chast, a storyteller who is known for her ability to deftly balance the line between the funny, the ridiculous and the uncomfortable in her cartoons, was one of nineteen distinguished medal recipients which included writers, historians, educators and filmmakers.
