In the Wake of the Willows

Amy Turano Thurber has designed and illustrated a hardcover kidult book written by her husband, Frederick Thurber: In the Wake of the Willows: A Sequel to Kenneth Grahame's, The Wind in the Willows, Second Edition.

The interior illustrations were produced during her travels to New Zealand, and inspired by many adventures in nature shared with her husband. Over the summer and fall they collaborated with a Trinity Rep audio producer, Joel Thibodeau, and Brown Theatre Arts MFA candidate, Madeleine Barker, on an audio version of the book which was released in November by Audible.com.
