RISD Graduate Celebrates 112th Birthday
RISD Graduate Barbara Barton IA 30 celebrated her 112th birthday this month.
Barton grew up in Barrington, RI and is now living at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home in East Providence.
Born in 1908, Barton studied textile design at the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated in 1928. She went on to work as a fabric designer in Massachusetts.
