New animation and sculptural work by James Polk
James Polk 77 SC is a designer and builder of mechanical devices for many purposes.
Polk operates a small business called Canstruct. He was commissioned by YouTube to animate a window display in Broadway for New York Fashion Week. The display, created to promote designers, was on view from September 9–29, 2022. This window used a kaleidoscope effect to highlight the patterns in the clothing.
Polk's latest sculptural offering is a limited edition tabletop kinetic piece titled Madonna & Child. The sculpture's parts are 3D printed.
