"LIVE FROM CAPE COD!"
Techspressionism
Artists Using Technology Online

"LIVE FROM CAPE COD!" is a hybrid salon meetup between Techspressionism's global online artist community & an in-person audience at Cape Cod Museum of Art on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 12 pm to 1:30 pm ET. We hope you will join us for a truly unique opportunity to connect with the Techspressionism global online community of artists who use technology as an artistic approach to express emotional experience.

Techspressionism introduces a new art historical term that distinguishes expressive fine art created with technology from such genres as "digital art," which can include animated movies and video games. This artist-generated movement embraces changing technologies in the creative process and communicates with each other via online salons, regional nodes, interviews, exhibitions, and writings.

Our program occurs concurrently online via Zoom and in person at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, Dennis, MA. The program aims to encourage communication between online and offline art worlds. The event includes a historical overview of Techspressionism, presentations of Techspressionism exhibits, and a Q & A session to meet the artists.

Renata Janiszewska, Karen LaFleur, Colin Goldberg, and Benton Jones, director of art for CCMoA, will be in attendance.
