La Linterna with Buena Gráfica

We are thrilled to share that Buena Gráfica will be bringing to Providence for the first time La Linterna, Cali—a renown printmaking collective printshop based in the city of Cali, in Colombia, that has narrated part of Colombia’s graphic history since 1934 through graphic arts and printmaking.
We have organized a one day event with La Linterna on Tuesday, July 11th, as part of the programming of our show The Poster El Cartel: Puerto Rico, Cuba & Colombia. Join us for a Wheat Paste Workshop & Mural Installation at The Steel Yard on July 11th from 1pm–4pm. (100% of the workshop fees will go to the artist to cover traveling fees + materials).
This event will be followed by a poster exhibition, sale, documentary screening & discussion panel on Community Building Through Design and Printmaking at Teatro ECAS.
