Ewa [pronounced EV-ah] Podgórska is a RISD grad on a mission to redefine how we think of and design our interiors. A strong proponent of biophilic design–an approach that recognizes the beneficial and restorative effects of incorporating natural elements into the built environment–she believes that interiors should not only be beautiful but also good for our health; should not only shelter us but help us thrive! Her newly opened design atelier, Sova Studio in New York City, focuses on creating bespoke, nature-centric designs that aim to positively impact the people who use them.
