Tom and Jess met in Spring 2003 when Tom was just a prospective RISD student, and Jess was finishing up her Sophomore year. Jesse Lefkowitz 05 IL was showing Tom around campus, and ran into Jess and her roommate, Aaron Flynn 05 IL. Thankfully, Tom was compulsively taking photos of the entire trip and managed to capture the moment. During Wintersession 2004, Tom and Jess reconnected and immediately hit it off. 17 years later, they are still inseparable and living in Seattle. They will celebrate 15 years of marriage in June 2021.
