Alum works on new film exploring grief

Daisy Borders 18 FAV from Louisville, KY, has always been a storyteller.

Daisy has worked as an Associate Producer on Amy Schumer's "Growing" on MAX and an indie pilot, "Who's Annie," that premiered at Sundance. She was the script supervisor for the recent independent feature film "Lone Wolves," and has been the post coordinator for "Ziwe" (Showtime), "Flatbush Misdemeanors" (Showtime), and "Ilana Glazer Presents: Comedy Extravaganza" (Comedy Central). She also directed her first short, "Little Mighty," in 2018. Her feature film screenplay "Sleepwalkers Bay" has gotten into multiple international film festivals, including Beverly Hills Film Festival in LA, and a queer fantasy novel she's been writing / developing for the past 20 years is currently going out to publishers.

Daisy is currently working alongside another RISD alum on a short film that follows a young woman navigating grief in a fantastical, timeless diner for lost souls. They are excited to work with like-minded individuals and cannot wait to see where this short takes them.
