Belluschi Building History Corridor at Pacific Northwest College of Art
As part of his support for the college, Tony Belluschi worked with Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) in Portland, Oregon to create a series of permanent wall panels, using photos of buildings as background, to show highlights in the growth of PNCA since 1891.
The panels show images of artworks, artists, alumni, faculty and supporters. As a RISD architecture graduate, Tony, along with his wife, Marti, wanted to encourage support for "building the history" of the school from students, parents, faculty, staff and the community.
Tony was a longtime RISD Board Member and Chair, who now serves on the Board of PNCA. He and Marti encourage any friends of RISD coming to Portland to visit PNCA.
