Notice of Media

By entering the event premises, you consent to photography, your voice/audio recordings, and/or text written by you or about you: (i) on the RISD websites, (ii) in RISD newsletters and publications, (iii) in direct marketing and email marketing campaigns, (iv) in advertisements (print, digital, video, and online), (v) by RISD and RISD produced media outlets, (vi) by external news media outlets and production facilities, (vii) in a live simulcast on RISD or non RISD servers, and/or (viii) in social media its/their release, publication, exhibition or reproduction to be used for news, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, or any other purpose by the RISD Alumni Association and its affiliates and representatives. You release RISD, its officers, employees, attorneys, agents, representatives and each and all persons involved from any and all liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication of photographs, video and/or sound recordings.

By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you or your heirs, agents, representatives or assigns may have to any claims for payment or royalties now or in the future in connection with any exhibition or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such exhibiting or other publication. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video or audio recording taken by the RISD Alumni Association or the person or entity designated to do so by the RISD Alumni Association.

You hereby agree that RISD shall own all rights to the material, including without limitation, the right to exploit the material consistent with the paragraph above, for educational, commercial, and marketing purposes.

You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability and release before entering the event.
