Announcing the 2025 Alumni Association Award Winners

This past fall, we invited our community to nominate alumni for the Alumni Association Awards by asking, “Who inspires you?” And, as always, the nomination process highlighted so many incredible individuals deserving of recognition. After careful consideration, the selection committee has recognized the following alumni with 2025 awards:

Sasha Gordon 20 PT, Emerging Leader Award
Byron Dean Kuth BArch 86, RISD Serves Award
Silas” Munro 03 GD, Art & Design Educator Award
Huma Bhabha 85 PR, Helen Adelia Rowe Metcalf Visionary Award

Through their work, this year’s winners challenge and reinvent traditional forms, explore the nuances of identity, develop and nurture novel formats of design teaching and push the boundaries of green building and sustainable design. We look forward to celebrating their incredible contributions to art, design and their communities at the RISD Awards Dinner at the end of May.
