Get Involved: Reunion Alumni Volunteers

We invite all RISD alumni to join us and help plan and promote RISD Reunion Weekend. Your involvement will help us celebrate your graduation class.

The primary role of a reunion volunteer is to serve as an ambassador for your class’s RISD reunion.

Our reunions celebrate each class on their 2 year anniversary and every 5 years post-graduation (5, 10, 15, 20... and beyond!). There are many ways you can be a reunion volunteer at RISD depending on your interests, availability and skills.RISD staff work with you to identify the best way you can support your class’s reunion efforts. Some examples include (but are not limited to):

  • Serving as a source of reunion information and enthusiasm for your class
  • Sending personal outreach about reunion programming and/or giving to classmates through email, text, phone calls or social media
  • Lending your name to letters or emails sent by RISD about reunion programming or giving
  • Working with other volunteers to design events specifically geared to your class
  • Advising on the development of overall programming during reunion weekend
  • Leading on-campus programming during reunion weekend
  • Participating in RISD reunion committee meetings
  • Supporting reunion class gift efforts
