Each year, we honor our founder, Helen Adelia Rowe Metcalf, the 34 Rhode Island Women’s Centennial Commission members and the bold idea that started it all with an on-campus celebration and alumni days of service.

Stop Making Sense at RISD

Talking Heads Chris Frantz 74 PT/HD 15 and Tina Weymouth 74 PT/HD 15 took the stage for a 40th-anniversary screening of the concert film Stop Making Sense, followed by a panel discussion with RISD Professor of American Studies Daniel Cavicchi.
