Blue, Barry, and Pancakes Book Release
Dan Abdo and Jason Patterson are releasing an early reader graphic novel series, Blue, Barry, and Pancakes with First Second Books.
Blue, Barry, and Pancakes is a lovely story about friendship. One day, when the gang goes to the beach, Barry and Pancakes lose Blue’s beloved beach ball. They come up with a plan to get it back, but things go way off course. Now, these pals will have to go inside a giant whale’s stomach, crash a pool party on an alien spaceship, and survive Duckzilla’s volcanic birthday bash if they ever hope to see Blue’s beach ball again!
Dan & Jason have been a power house creative team since graduating from RISD. They've directed award-winning animated commercials (Hornet), and created hit cartoon shows (Rocket Monkeys). This is their comic book premier and they've packed it with everything they love: comedy, adventure, alien butts and the enduring power of friendship. The books will hit shelves starting March 9, 2021.
