Regional Club News: Announcing the RISD Club of Baltimore

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our latest regional club, the Club of Baltimore. Led by chair Xavier Hardison 21 PT, the club will hold its inaugural event on November 7. RISD Showcases Sustainability Innovation During Climate Week NYC 2024

RISD’s participation represented our strongest presence at Climate Week to date, amplifying the institution’s unique voice in the climate conversation and demonstrating art and design’s potential to make positive change in the sustainable design space.

At the Museum: Brighten Up!

Combining objects from the collection with recent acquisitions, including those generously given by the Enamel Arts Foundation, this exhibition educates, documents and promotes a greater awareness of the art form of enamelwork. Together, these works demonstrate the many ways artists enliven metal through bold and bright enameling techniques.

RISD Research Presents Projects by Students, Faculty and Alums Integrating Art, Design and Science

For DESIGN WEEK RI, RISD Research organized A I R: Arts Innovation Research, a presentation of 20 interactive exhibits inviting participants to explore projects focused on everything from Southeast Asian design traditions to the glacial history of nearby Block Island to a board game highlighting the last 60 years of illustration.
