RISD Love Knows No Bounds
RISD alumni, Jared Zimmerman BGD 06 and Shannon Badiee PR 06, have been married since 2013, but even though these sweethearts attended RISD at the same time, they never actually met in Providence!
Two years after graduating, their mutual friend Celeste Mink IL 05, hosted a dinner party, and they discovered they were neighbors in San Francisco. They had very different backgrounds, but connected over their RISD experience, fostered a friendship for years, and ended up falling in love. They now also serve as co-chairs of the Alumni Club of Silicon Valley.
