Alum writes and directs critically acclaimed film for "Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire" series
I wrote and directed my latest film, Enkai, which is part of Disney's Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire anthology of all-African animated films.
Since the launch of the Kizazi Moto anthology on Disney+ in June 2023, Enkai has been screened in several prestigious film festivals around the world, and been nominated for numerous awards.
The series has received critical acclaim setting new standards for animated productions globally. The series achieved a significant milestone by winning the 'Best TV/Media - Limited Series' at the 51st Annie Awards (2024), with Enkai representing the Kizazi Moto anthology. It’s of unprecedented significance that our anthology of African directed films has been recognized in this way.
The Annie's are animation's highest honor!
