Jordanne Renner receives two grants
Among other accomplishments in the past six months, Jordanne Renner 03 PH received two grants to create and curate two unique exhibition opportunities that are a part of the 2022 FotoFocus Biennial, "World Record" (October 2022).
Renner is also a juror for the ImageOHIO call-to-artists that ROY G BIV gallery is hosting, which is another exhibition that is a part of the 2022 FotoFocus Biennial. In November 2021, she was honored to be asked to attend and represent the Society for Photographic Education's Women's Caucus at the inaugural WOPHA Congress in Miami. Renner met some incredible image makers at this event, including Delphine Fawundu, who agreed to jury one of her FotoFocus exhibition calls.
At the beginning of 2022, Renner moved into the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors with the Society for Photographic Education as the national treasurer.
This spring, she developed the curriculum for summer photography programs within the Community & Development department of Columbus College of Art & Design.
Renner was happy to reconnect with Deborah Bright, who was one of her instructors during her time at RISD. Deborah is the other juror for the WE, the Women's Caucus Exhibition call-to-artists that is a part of the 2022 FotoFocus Biennial.
