Don’t Let Your Classmates Miss Their Reunion
RISD Reunion Weekend is a celebration of our community and a chance to reconnect with classmates. If you know an alum celebrating their reunion who may not receive our email communications, encourage them to update their contact information so we can see them on campus this spring!
Affinity Group Spotlight: RISD Black Alumni
Building on the momentum of the 2024 Black Alumni Reunion, RISD Black Alumni is seeking leaders to join the affinity group. They welcome anyone interested in learning more to a virtual open meeting on February 24 at 6 pm. The group will discuss plans and upcoming programming, including their Reunion 2025 Cookout.

Guest curated by Angela Hermano Crenshaw, this exhibition presents a selection of piña and abacá works from the RISD Museum’s collection, highlighting the complex production and high skill level in their weaving and embroidering.

Regional Club News: RISD Club of Connecticut
The Club of Connecticut and club co-leader Dave TenEyck 93 IL are excited to announce the second Alumni Exhibition at Bergen House on view from March 5–31, 2025. Open to all alumni, anyone interested in participating can sign up through February 28. An alumni reception at Bergen House will celebrate the exhibition on March 15, 2025.
First-Year RISD Students Collaborate on Interactive Installation in Sculpture Studio
Classes such as the Sculpture Department’s Immersive Worlds make Wintersession special for many of our students (and alumni!). From experimenting with a plethora of making techniques to learning how objects shape narratives, check out this story and more on risd.edu.
Womxn @ Work
Now in its second year, the RISD Women@Work initiative honors and amplifies the voices of womxn within our campus community. This year’s celebration of our honorees will take place on March 19, 2025, with a captivating photography and storytelling exhibit.
