For the past few years, I've been making a series of ghost illustrations called "Hauntings" for Halloween where I draw a place from life, and then add in these ghost characters. The background for this piece was drawn in pen from life at Honey Pot Hill apple orchard in Stow, MA and then colored digitally. The pieces always start as an observation of my environment, and then I get to have fun and make them haunted.
