We have many family-friendly, open-to-the-community events happening as part of Commencement + Reunion Weekend. Most of these events are drop-in and don't require registration. We hope to see you there!
RISD Museum Free Admission
RISD Museum is free all weekend, with drop in sketching sessions happening on Friday and Saturday from 1–4 pm.
RISD Revisited: Stories, Art, and Alumni
In collaboration with RISD Alumni & Family Relations, the RISD Archives presents a special reunion-themed exhibition showcasing photographs, memorabilia and more from the classes of 1960–2023. On view through July 3, 2025.
Nature Lab Open House
Explore this beloved RISD institution with your family and friends. There will be a Photo Booth and Drop-In Still Life Drawing from 1–3 pm both days.
Retired Faculty & Staff Reception
Join us as we honor and celebrate our professor emeriti and retired staff at a casual reception in Market Square.
