Fashion Birbs is a series born from daily bird drawing challenges like #birbfest and #feathruary, where I imagine how birds might express themselves through fashion. The series explores the consumerism of humans and celebrates the quirky personalities of birds. Illustration lets me tell jokes visually to bring these birds to life, like the American Robin in Getting My Steps In, who can fly but clearly prefers walking. After all, all that jaywalking and worm hunting isn’t happening in the air!
