Painted during a residency at Elsewhere Studios in Paonia, Colorado, this visionary piece, ayahuasca inspired, pictures a young man emerging to a new life. As an ecofeminist artist and activist, my work usually depicts the female figure as / in landscape, using fabric as a medium. This was an exception -- a prayer for my son.
