"As a sci-fi aficionado with a background in illustration and graphic design, I was ready to engage software programs when computer-scanner linkups to large format printers became available.
"Cable Network" was the 3rd image in sequence using new digital tools. Prominent art writer Peter Frank cited my work as a pioneering influence of the early 1990's.
In context of "Robotic Portaiture", my travelling solo, "Cable Network" circulated to domestic and overseas venues for two decades. Independently, it was the first-ever computer print to be exhibited in the "International Graphic Triennale, Krakow", 1991.
In 1992, The Providence Journal featured "Cable Network" with review for a breakthrough exhibition at the Warwick Center for the Arts.
The favorable exposure lead to acquisition of the exhibit piece for the RISD Museum print collection."
