Do you want to take part in planning your reunion?  RISD is seeking reunion volunteers to serve as enthusiastic ambassadors for Reunion Weekend 2025. You can get involved in many ways based on your interests, availability and skills, from promoting the weekend to classmates and helping design events to supporting class initiatives.

Be a voice for your class, become a reunion volunteer and help us prepare for your Reunion Weekend, May 29–June 1, 2025.

RISDmade for you

Are you an alumni maker or designer currently selling your work online? Is your shop featured on RISDmade? RISDmade is the online guide for alumni work from across the globe, and your online store could be there too! Visit the site to learn more about participating.

Join an Alumni Association Committee

The Alumni Association Leadership Council (AALC) has launched several new committees that support various RISD initiatives. These committees include the Affinity Groups Committee, Global Committee, Regional Clubs Committee, Reunion Committee and Student-Alumni Committee. We are excited for these new alumni-led opportunities, and we hope you will join us.

Regional Club Spotlight: RISD Club of South Florida

The Club of South Florida connects RISD alumni in the Miami / Fort Lauderdale area through social events and arts-focused opportunities such as gallery tours, life drawing and more. This summer, the club welcomed two new co-chairs, Isabel Kim 91 IL and Claudia Marquez 98 GD, who are excited to continue building the club’s momentum.

RISD Students Expand Horizons Via Summer Internships

For many RISD juniors and seniors, summer is the perfect time to explore real-world opportunities via summer internships. This summer, more than 300 students are doing just that, working for organizations as nearby as Providence and Boston and as far away as Los Angeles and the Netherlands.

At the Museum: Sensory Silhouettes

Garments are meant to be a tactile experience. However, when presented behind glass in a museum, our sensory connection to the garments on view is limited. In Sensory Silhouettes, the textures, colors and histories of South Asian textiles converge in a unique exhibition where visitors are encouraged to contemplate and interact with these historical textiles by engaging multiple senses.

2025 Alumni Travel Destinations

We have partnered with Odysseys Unlimited to provide unique, small-group excursions exclusively for RISD alumni and their guests. Our 2025 destinations explore the culture and hospitality of Morocco with our “Moroccan Discovery” excursion (April 15-28, 2025) and the beauty and tradition of Vietnam with “Journey through Vietnam” (October 9-23, 2025).
