Sanctuary explores life on the street using the metaphor of a rusty chain link fence as a foil to the optimism of a rainbow aviary nesting in the resilient woman's hair. I describe my art practice as Urbansurrealism and many years of illustrating honed my painter skills which I use as a professional artist living Portland Oregon.
