Shopify Boot Camp
We saw our craft community get hit hard by the pandemic. All the shows were cancelled and virtual shows don't generate the same sales volume. We are seeing a necessary shift to e-commerce and it is no longer a nice-to-have but a must-have for makers.
We specialize in creating e-commerce websites for handmade products and received many inquiries last year but it was out of reach for almost everyone. We wanted to help our community so Andy Zatarain went back to her teaching roots — 11 years teaching rendering in the RISD J&M department — and created a step-by-step program to guide artists who sell handmade products so they can build their Shopify store. Last year she helped 22 artists pivot from craft shows to selling online.
The new session of the Shopify Boot Camp opens January 28. The course includes nine 90-minute live coaching sessions and it's jam-packed with 60+ lessons and over 40 pages of downloads so your store doesn't just look good but is an integral part of your sales tools.
Past students loved the live coaching sessions when they could learn how to adapt Shopify to selling handmade objects from jewelry to ceramics and get their questions answered so they could keep moving forward.
Andy has 20+ years experience as a small business owner and has built websites for award winning designers Barbara Heinrich, John Iversen, Claire Kelly and RISD Alumni Dahlia Kanner.
Info Sessions: January 15 at 3pm EST and January 21 at 5pm EST.
