Alumni curates NY exhibition of works by Libbie Mark (1905–1972)

Jennifer Uhrhane's current endeavor is focused on an understudied but talented Abstract Expressionist female painter, Libbie Mark (1905–1972). For the past several years, She has been working closely with Mark’s family to catalogue her artwork, research, and write about her fascinating life. So far, She has documented and inventoried over 130 paintings and works on paper, as well as two fiber pieces and one sculpture, dating from the late 1940s to the late 1960s, which are currently held by the Libbie Mark Provincetown Fund, extended family, and other collectors. Most recently, She curated and organized an exhibition of Libbie's work, and written an accompanying catalogue, that opens on January 18, 2022 at the National Arts Club in New York, NY.

Jennifer consults on a range of curatorial and collections projects, with individuals, artists' estates, and arts institutions.
