My work, “Mother Holding Child”, is included in "A Stitch in Time" at Arts Benicia in Benicia, CA from August 17-October 6, 2024. “Mother Holding Child” contemplates the survival of women, children and families during violent and catastrophic events, either environmental or man-made. We associate fabric against our skins from birth through death, linking this visual work with a tactile connection.
