Pandemic purchase grows into full time business
Durn the pandemic Atlanta, GA based product designer Huckleberry Starnes 94 SC bought a 100 year old hand guided chainstitch embroidery machine with the goal of making himself a custom western shirt.
In the ensuing 2 years that single machine has grown to a collection of `14+ antique embroidery and sewing machines, and is now his full time business, designing and hand making varsity jackets, jerseys, streetwear and costumes for film. Recent projects include customers such as Harley-Davidson, Nike, Disney, Stanley and Filson while also making custom jackets for the local high school.
