Alum publishes book supporting dementia patients
In addition to being a working artist Barbara Shafer 64 SC has authored a book, This is My Name; And, I want to write it down before I forget it.
The book is in a question/answer format, for use by people facing dementia, to help them provide important personnel information to future care givers. The illustrations for the book were done by her husband, Anders C. Shafer. Andy spent a sabbatical semester studying with Thomas Squoros at RISD.
