Meet a singer-songwriter/drummer who has been secretly writing songs for 20+ years and never expected to share any of them! This RISD alum worked in art & design before realizing music was her truest art form. Partly self taught, she follows instinct above all else. Through the twists and turns in life, she finally realized that she was meant to share this. Shani credits any talent to family who passed on the gift. Songwriting, production and creation has been an awakening for her and very therapeutic, too. Her poignant and meaningful music is shared in hopes that it will soothe your soul as well. She claims that “parts of this song may sound egotistical, but if you truly listen to the lyrics, it actually pays homage to people before me who passed on the gift of music, for which I am truly grateful.” Just in time for the holidays, this makes a great stocking stuffer, or for the music lover 🎁
