jRc Limited Edition Frames by Lowercase NYC
I wanted to share with you all the recent announcement for my jRc frame design for Lowercase NYC.
"The jRc is the first of a series of limited edition Lowercase frames available exclusively at select retailers. Each frame is individually numbered and limited to 25 units per color. The JRC was designed by Jane Campbell Robertson during her apprenticeship at Lowercase NYC and was so good we had to produce it! I’m really pleased to say that the tortoise sold out within a month of the “soft release” — Lowercase reached out to retailers before making a public announcement about the frames, and those retailers snatched up the tortoise color almost immediately. The frames were designed with a high prescription lens in mind, I sought to balance the benefits of a small, round frame style with reducing lens thickness. Being a life-long glasses wearer myself, I know all too well that shopping for glasses that will work with a high prescription is a really difficult challenge. are almost always too big. The jRc is an excellent answer for style, elegance, and fun — coming in two bold colors and one classic. It is sure to make a statement wherever it is work!
