RISD artists and designers are showing work in just about every discipline in dozens of venues across town—from ambitious, high-profile extravaganzas like Art Basel Miami Beach to more intimate spaces off the beaten path and fledgling art fairs.
The work of RISD alumni—a growing community with more than 27,000 members worldwide—is impossible to pigeonhole. It reflects the diversity of approaches students explore at RISD, where deep discipline-based learning and hands-on studio making give graduates the fluency and confidence they need to cross boundaries and break new ground as artists and designers.
