RISD Club of Hong Kong Exhibition Tour of "Botero in Guangzhou"
The Club of Hong Kong invites you to a special guided tour of Botero in Guangzhou, the first exhibition on the world-renowned Colombian artist Fernando Botero in South China.
This major exhibition features a wide range of the artist’s works, including oil paintings, watercolors, and bronzes, characterized by his signature “Boterismo” style, which constructs a world imbued with both humor and a sense of order.
Join us for a day out in Guangzhou with alumni, friends, and family as we explore Botero’s art. We plan to charter a bus from Hong Kong to Guangzhou; however, you may also choose to travel on your own.
The estimated fee per person is $850 (TBC) for round-trip transportation from Hong Kong to Guangzhou. We are also planning to enjoy lunch together, which will be charged at cost, with the venue to be decided later. We will share further details with those who register.
