The Swift River Valley Historical Society in North New Salem, MA is the new home of a diorama by Ken Levine 68 GD.
The large diorama (24' x 4') depicts the Swift River Valley pre-Quabbin Reservoir days, with a working HO train representing the historic Rabbit railroad, which was a branch of the Boston and Albany railroad.
The diorama became open to the public on June 22, 2022, and will remain open until September 14. A reception was held on June 5 from 1–3pm. There was a NBC 10 interview about the diorama on May 9 and a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 5. Additional details about the diorama can be found in the Friends of Quabbin newsletter.
