Alum opens home art studio in Austin, TX
In 2019, after living in Mexico for almost two decades, Kim Powell 91 IL and her family returned to her hometown of Austin, TX. Since her return she has focused on painting in intuitive abstraction and exhibited in a group show with She Wolf Gallery owner, Chloe Hedden 02 IL.
In November, Kim opened her home art studio for the first time during The Austin Studio Tour, put on her Big Medium, and is in their beautiful 2023 book. She offer studio visits by appointment, so don't hesitate to reach out!
