From the artists of Artist Open Studios:

Artist Open Studios will happen Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10 am–4 pm. This is a time for the public to get a personal glimpse into the studios and lives of local artists featured on this year's tour. It will take place in the towns of Foster, Glocester and Scituate, Rhode Island.

AOS, Artist Open Studios, is a FREE family event that offers an opportunity to learn about artists and their studio environments. A big thank you to the Scituate Public Library as well as all our kind sponsors for making this event possible. This year, the library will be hosting a show of outstanding student work in conjunction with our event.

Artist Open Studios is a unique experience where artists open their workspaces and people can learn a lot about the artist—how they create, the source of their inspiration and even why they create. Studios range from old renovated barns, to new rustic barns, to custom-designed studios which are attached to their homes.

We are celebrating our 23rd year! Come see local artists displaying their creations and meet our new member Carla Thomson, a talented painter. Use our address ArtistOpenStudios.org to link to a downloadable map, view examples of work and access additional artist information.
