Nicholas (Nick) Krenitsky passed away on April 6, 2022, at the age of 80.
Born in Naugatuck, CT in 1942, to Estelle (Otrimski) and Nicholas Krenitsky, he was a longtime resident of Manhattan. He is survived by his loving spouse, Roberto Fuenmayor, his sister, Sharon Devine, his brother, Paul Krenitsky, his nieces, nephews and cousins, and a close-knit group of life-long friends.
A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Nick enjoyed a successful career that included design and art direction positions at McGraw-Hill and HarperCollins Children’s Books. He will long be remembered as an amazingly talented, incredibly funny, wonderfully irreverent, and always supportive friend.
