Installation: 365 Horizon Lines
I recently installed a piece in an Amazon Storefront window titled “365 Horizon Lines”.
It consists of 365 5”x5” oil paintings on wood panels of abstract landscape paintings, each unique with variable horizon lines. The idea is that each day matters and even if our days are somewhat similar (which they tend to be these days!), each one is special and unique and we need to be present to that idea. Like a calendar, the culmination of days helps us reflect on what we have done and where we have gone, but more importantly, how to make the necessary changes to making our lives more meaningful for ourselves and others.
