Pulling on the Thread Season Four
Pulling on the Thread is back for season four! Hosted by Lois Harada 10 PR, the podcast explores alumni projects, the creative process behind them and the journey from RISD that got them where they are. This season features all-new interviews with Jo Sittenfeld MFA 08 PH, Hanson Cheng BArch 16, JooHee Yoon 11 IL, Miguel Lastra MFA 22 CR, Lindsay Degen 10 TX and Vincent Brathwaite 05 ID. Hot off the presses, the latest issue of RISD’s alumni magazine is hitting mailboxes across the globe. From sharing the lessons gained from decades of experience to once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, the spring issue is filled with stories that inspire. We created a new section, Noteworthy, combining Class Notes and alumni news, based on your feedback. We hope you enjoy!
Pollinator Pilot Program
Pollinator invites our alumni to join a virtual, 5-week residency with peers from ArtOmi, Jerome Foundation, NEW INC and more. Pollinator connects practitioners across art, tech, and social impact through a proven peer-coaching method. Expand your network while making progress on a project by signing up for the pilot program this October.
RISD Reunion Weekend
May 29–June 1, 2025
Reunion is just weeks away, and online registration closes on May 26! We are kicking off on Thursday night with a Welcome Reception hosted by the Club of Rhode Island, and we have a weekend filled with activities planned. We hope to see you there.
Regional Club News: New Hampshire
The Club of New Hampshire just announced their next event, a tour & workshop at Makers Mill in Wolfeboro on June 7. We are excited to explore this maker-focused space and participate in a marbling workshop with fiber artist Jeanne Flanagan. If you are interested in joining us, sign up quickly, as space is very limited.
RISD Continuing Education Summer Intensives
This summer, RISD Continuing Education (CE) is offering a selection of online courses that may be eligible for three college transfer credits. These intensive art and design-focused courses are perfect for current college students looking to earn transfer credit and adults 18+ who have graduated from high school and are seeking personal enrichment or professional growth.

At the Museum: The 2025 Dorner Prize
The World Is on Fire by 2025 Dorner Prize winner Kailyn Bryant 25 FD is now on view in the Chace Lobby. The work depicts five queer people of color at a dinner party. The museum invites visitors to paste their thoughts directly onto the painting, answering the prompt, “What’s something you wish you could say out loud?”
Collection 2025

Seniors in Apparel Design will present their final bodies of work in Collection 2025, a live runway show on Wednesday, May 28. Tickets are now available for the Collection 2025 shows at 4 pm and 7 pm at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence.
