Marisa Murrow: Artist in Residence at the Vermont Studio Center
Marisa Murrow 00 IL was the Artist in Residence at the Vermont Studio Center from April–May 2023.
During her residency, Murrow explored a new way of working and was inspired by peaceful poolscapes. She expanded her practice by working on raw canvas with acrylic paints. In a short amount of time, Murrow was able to make a huge leap with the material and scale of her paintings, producing five large works that were exhibited at the end of her residency.
