
Lynne McCormack named director of Rhode Island State Council on the Arts
Lynne McCormack 87 FAV, an experienced arts administrator, was appointed to the position on July 7, 2022.
Previously, McCormack served as the national program director of creative placemaking for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation from 2015–2022. She was also director of Art, Culture + Tourism for the city of Providence from 2006–2015. She currently lives in Cranston, RI and is excited for the opportunity to support the Rhode Island arts community through her work with the council.
