Water, Wood and Wild Things
Water, Wood and Wild Things—my book of essays and illustrations (and recipes) about the artisans of a Japanese village—will be published March 23 by Viking.
It tells stories of people making the things that define Yamanaka—and how their work weaves together into the fabric of the local community and culture. Scheduled virtual events include: March 25 at Books Are Magic with Bryan Washington and April 31 at Elliot Bay Book Company with John Maeda.
