ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jecca is an athlete, artist, writer and Buddhist. Her work has been exhibited around the world in museums, contemporary art centers, galleries, non-profit spaces, on city streets, in public gardens, on jumbotron video screens and on the Internet. She has worked in 165 cities, lived in Tokyo for a year, in Paris for 13 years, in Los Angeles for 5 years, and now lives in New York City for the past 20 years. She has had residencies at Yaddo, New York, The Experimental Television Center, NY, and the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris. She has a graduate certificate with distinction from California Institute for the Arts in Creating Site-Specific Dance and Performance Works, completed the Artists as Entrepreneurs program at the New York Foundation for the Arts, has a Web Design Certificate from the American University of Paris, an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design, and a BA, magna cum laude from Brown University.
