Starts: Thu, January 19, 2023
Ends: Wed, March 01, 2023
Reception: Thu, January 26, 2023, 5 pm - 7 pm

M. Pettee Olsen 86 PT, Michael Oatman 86 PT and Rosanne Walsh 87 FAV, together with curator Monica Church 86 PR, revisit each other through their work in Vassar College’s Palmer Gallery.

Imploding Meaning: Tale-less Tales About Absolutely Nothing and Everything In Between will be on view from January 19–March 1, 2023.

The four artists met at RISD years ago. Though each artist's approach is different, a through line in their work is an embodied openness to interpretation, evoking experience and invoking a call to simply behold the work and the world.

“Consider the wordless story; with no beginning, middle or end”: a Zen kōan for our times.
