How the Light Gets In
The independent film "How the Light Gets In" that I helped produce (and also act in) has just premiered on Amazon Prime. The film was directed by Steven Fierberg, cinematographer from the films Secretary, Love and Other Drugs, and TV shows The Affair, and Entourage.
We shot on weekends over the course of 2 years with whatever camera we could get for free. We used Nikon, Sony and Canon still cameras, as well as Canon C300 MkII, Red Epic, and Alexa. See if you can tell which scenes used which cameras!
Our squad on any given day ranged from the actors standing in as crew, to Steve's full camera and stunt crew from The Affair working for free.
