Alumni work in Connecticut Exhibition

Trine Giaever 87 IL had two portraits chosen for the Color Blind Virtual Art Exhibit hosted by the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut. The exhibit opened with a Zoom conversation on the topic of "symbols of liberation, resistance, and empowerment" this past May. The works remain on view on the Cultural Alliance's website through August 27.

Ida B. Wells-Barnett was an African American journalist and women's suffrage leader.
Frances E.W. Harper was a very important prolific writer and African American abolitionists.
