Alum launches new digital design platform
Alyssa Gerasimoff 20 FD launches Erria, a new digital design platform showcasing creatives working at the intersection of craft, art, and design.
Erria began as a series of conversations between Alyssa and her former classmates about the challenges that artists and designers face when launching their careers. The two pain points present in every story were visibility and connections. Recognizing that in a largely digital age, artists and designers remain underserved by technology, Alyssa decided to try to do something about it.
Launched at the beginning of August, Erria 1.0 is a simple, visual directory of creatives working between craft art and design, but over the coming years, Alyssa’s vision is to build Erria into a robust digital platform that bridges gaps between emerging artists, architects, suppliers, fabricators, consumers, and beyond. Erria is growing every week and if you think your work would be a good addition to the directory, fill out this Google Form.
